I'm an amateur watercolor artist who wants to become more professional. Painting in watercolors is my passion and I hope to turn this passion into a professional career. Winning the scholarship award will allow me the freedom of shaping my future in the way that suits me best. Moreover, it will boost my self-confidence as an artist, knowing that I not only completed a very important task but also took the responsibility of creating a foundation for getting me closer to my career goals.  Financially this award will allow me to cover the costs related to participation in competitions and exhibitions.- Ada Florek

# 1991  – studied Fine Arts in High School of Art in Kosno, Poland
# 1997  – studied Art History at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland
# 2005 – moved to Holland
# 2006 – started taking interest in watercolors 
# 2011  – moved to Germany
# 2014 – moved to France

# Winner in Hahnemuehle International Calendar Competition - 2012
# 1st place in “Animalistic” category at the Watercolor Biennale Art Bridge in  St.Petersburg, Russia - 2013
# Winner in Hahnemuehle International Calendar Competition - 2016
# Honorable Mention Award in the 2nd International Watercolor Contest ABU RAWASH PRIZE - 2018
